Is the status LED green? Is it showing the breathing LED status?
Cause
For cases in which the standby mode settings are performed, there is a possibility that it is set in the standby mode (screen OFF).
Solution
Please touch the screen only once. For cases in which the screen is not displayed even when touched, verify the following system data area.

With the GP4000 series (excluding the GP-4100 series, GP-4201TM, and GP-4301TM), when in standby mode (Screen OFF) or in the following conditions, the status LED shows a breathing LED.
When the system data area [Screen Display ON/OFF] is "FFFFh"
When the system data area [Control] bit 0 is turned ON.
Is "FFFFh" written in the system data area [Screen Display ON/OFF] address?
Cause
When "FFFFh" is stored in the [Screen Display ON/OFF] address, the screen display is turned OFF.
Solution
Store "Oh" in the [Screen Display ON/OFF] address. For more information regarding the System Data Area settings, refer to the following.

When the system data area [Control] address bit 0 is turned ON.
Cause
When bit 0 of the [Control] address is turned O, the backlight is turned off.
Solution
Turn OFF the [Control] address bit 0. For more information regarding the System Data Area settings, refer to the following.

Is the status LED light flashing orange?
Cause
For models that support a backlight burnout detection function, backlight burnout is detected.
For models that support backlight burnout detection, please refer to the following.

Replace the backlight. If there is no improvement, please contact the Pro-face customer care center.
Moreover, when the status LED is turned on in orange soon after purchase, there is a possibility that the display unit is out of order. Please contact the Pro-face customer care center.
The backlight burnout detection function monitors the current consumed by the display unit. Depending on the failure type of the backlight, burnout may not be detected, or may be detected earlier than complete burnout.
Is the status LED showing something other than the breathing LED status? (For GP4000 series)
Cause
For the GP4000 series (excluding the GP-4100 series, GP-4201TM series, GP-4301 series), when the screen is dark and the status LED is either off or in a state other than the breathing LED status, the backlight may be burned out.
Solution
Please contact the Pro-face customer care center.
Is the status LED turned OFF?
Cause
The power supply voltage to the display unit is low.
Solution
Measure the power voltage of each display unit and set it according to the "Rated Voltage Range" specified in the manual or the hardware manual. If it does not improve even if it is set within the range, there is a possibility that it is out of order. Please contact the Pro-face customer care center.
Are errors displayed?
Cause
When the error message "RAAA005 The specified initial screen number does not exist" is displayed, the initial screen number (initial screen) displayed when turning on the power may be incorrect.
Solution
Confirm the setting of the initial screen number. Refer to the following for the setting change method.
