| I want to keep the current variable value even when the display unit is shut down. |

If you only set the variable, the current value will revert to the default value. In case to retain the current value after the unit is shut down, please configure the Retentive Settings for variables.

On the [View (V)] menu, select [Work Space (W)] > [Properties (P)]. The [Properties] window will be displayed. |

Select the instruction to save the current value in. |

In the [Properties] window, select [Detail Settings] > [Retentive], and click [Retentive]. |
