Once you set up a GP Remote Printer Server for your display unit, you cannot change to a unit that does not support the GP Remote Printer Server. A warning message displays and the unit will not change if you attempt to do so.

Even when printing a hard copy during screen capture, an error occurs and printing is not executed.
When [GP Remote Printer Server] is set for printer settings, setting changes in the display cannot be made offline. When other drivers are set, the display unit cannot be changed to [GP Remote Printer Server] offline.
You can print the following when the language is either English or Japanese. Any language other than English or Japanese will not print correctly. Also, prints in black only.

If a computer does not have a Japanese operating system, Japanese text will not print correctly.
Set the printer directly connected to the computer in which GP Remote Printer Server is installed as the "default printer". To use and share a printer connected to another computer on the network, please consult the network administrator, because it depends on the environment.
You cannot print with the GP Remote Printer installed on the PC using "Remote Desktop Connection".
If you want to print using the [Remote Desktop Connection], in the [Remote Desktop Connection] - [Options] - [Local Resources] tab, remove the checkmark from [Local Device and Resources] - [Printer].
Using Windows 7
After installing the GP Remote Printer Server, do not change the FTP server site directory (physical path). Otherwise, the GP Remote Printer Server will no longer operate.
If you have changed the FTP server site directory (physical path), it is necessary to re-install the GP Remote Printer Server.
The FTP site used for GP Remote Printer Server is the one with the smallest ID at the time GP Remote Printer Server is installed. You can check the FTP site ID by opening the [Control Panel], opening [Administrative Tools], and double-clicking [IIS Manager], and selecting [View Sites].
