One Sampling Data Display can be placed per screen. If multiple Displays are on one screen, only the Display set first is active.
The data edit function is disabled when the Sampling Data Display is placed on a Window screen.
Do not draw a [Sampling Data Display] with [Edit Data] selected on the same screen as a [Special Data Display]'s [Show CSV] part or a [Data Display] with [Allow Input] selected.
Do not draw a [Historical Trend Graph] with [Selected Time] selected on the same screen as a [Sampling Data Display] with [Edit Data] selected. Drawing these objects on the same screen prevent the Sampling Data Display's [Edit Data] function from working.
The calculation operations are carried out in 32 bit length. If the calculation data has more digits (exceeds 32 bits), the calculation will not display correctly.
When the [Overwrite old data after finishing the specified cycles] check box is selected, the calculation rows (Total, Average, Max, Min) will show the calculated value of the data housed in the display unit. Overwritten data is not included in the calculations.
When the [Overwrite old data after finishing the specified cycles] is selected in the [Mode] tab, and in the [Display/Save in CSV] tab you click [Data Type] and select [Specify Input/Display Range] to define the [Min]/[Max] values, the sampling display update will be slower as the number of sampling cycles increases.
Calculations use values after rounding off. When alarms are set up in the data portion, the alarm range is determined by the value before rounding off. As a result, even if the data and calculation have the same alarm range, the display color may be different.
In the sampling group's Address, if the [Bit Length] or [Addressing] change, the [Display/Save in CSV] format will be reset.
When changing the [Display/Save in CSV] settings from [Custom Settings] to [Basic], all customized settings will be reset.
Please use the same data format for the numeric value and total fields. If the formats differ, then the calculated value may not display correctly.
In regards to Calculation Settings, when [Calculated Data] is [Total] or [Average], the average or total values are not calculated from the Sampled Data, but rather from the Calculation Settings results. As a result, a deviation may result between the data and calculated values.
If you have configured alarm analysis settings, the behavior of Sampling Data Display placed in the Alarm Analysis Screen is different than usual. For more details, please refer to the following.
20.11.3 About Alarm Analysis
Restrictions when [Enable multiple data types] is selected in the [Address] tab
Please refer to the following for the models that support [Enable multiple data types] in the [Address] tab.
1.5 Supported Features
if you select a different [Language] than the that of the collected text data (ASCII codes), the text may become illegible.
If the [Data Type] in the [Address] tab is set to [TIME], [DATE], [TIME_OF_DAY], or [DATE_AND_TIME], you cannot edit sampled data.
If the [Data Type] in the [Address] tab is set to [Bit], [Text], [TIME], [DATE], [TIME_OF_DAY], or [DATE_AND_TIME], calculated data is not displayed.
If the [Data Type] in the [Address] tab is set to other than [Word 16 Bit], [Word 32 Bit], you cannot display graphs using the Historical Trend Graph and XY Historical Scatter Graph.
Restrictions on Refine Search / Sort
For a list of models that support the Refine Search/Sort functions, please see the following:
1.5 Supported Features
You cannot sort based on multiple columns. If you have already sorted the list on one column, and sort again based on another column, the first sort condition is cleared.
You can refine search based on multiple columns. Also, you can refine search and sort based on the same column.
If the [Data Type] in the [Address] tab is set to [TIME], [DATE], [TIME_OF_DAY], or [DATE_AND_TIME] for a data column, you cannot search/sort on the column.
Even if a new sampling is performed, the display is not updated if the search/sort results are currently displayed.
If you want to update the display, touch the [Update] switch (or a special switch for updating).
You cannot edit data while search/sort results are displayed.
You cannot use search/sort result to save CSV file/print/write data. If you try to save CSV file/print/write data when search/sort result is displayed, the original data before search/sort is used.
If you change screens, languages or block numbers, search/sort on all columns are automatically cleared.
It takes up to 30 seconds to process search/sort.
For search conditions, you can specify up to the second of Date/Time. You cannot specify a search condition in the order of 100 milliseconds.
When searching Float data, you can specify up to 6 digits. If you specify 7 or more digits, an error occurs because of rounding.
You can search the read error "----" only on a text data column. In other columns, you cannot search for errors or invalid data (for example, data including A - Fh in the sampled data is stored when the data type is set to BCD).
If you have multiple Sampling Data Displays on one screen, and if one of the Sampling Data Displays is displaying search/sort result, you cannot use search/sort in other Sampling Data Display(s).
The Search menu and Search Condition Entry keypads are displayed using a Special Window or Local Window. If the maximum number of windows are already displayed, the Search menu or a Search Condition Entry keypad cannot be activated. Close other window and touch the item name again in the Sampling Data Display.
12.9 Displaying Multiple Windows on a Single Screen
If the [Common Settings] menu's [Sampling] settings exceed 1 MB, the search/sort function does not work.
The registered size is calculated, based on the data type, the [Occurrences] setting in the [Mode] tab, and the number of data columns set up in the preview area of the [Display/Save in CSV] tab. ([Date], [Time], [Item Name (Vertical)], and [Text] columns are calculated as 0 byte.)
Registered size={(Data Type of [Data1] column) + (Data Type of [Data2] column) +...(Data Type of [DataN] column)} x [Number of Occurrences]
Data Type |

---|---|
Word 8 Bit |

If you use the Refine Search/Sort function in the GP-Viewer EX, nothing will be written in the status address. In addition, the search result and the display unit are not synchronized.
